Shearwater Marine Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Industrial Coatings Applicator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying protective coatings to structures and marine vessels. This role is crucial in ensuring the longevity and safety of these assets.
· Prepare surfaces for coating application, including cleaning, blasting,and priming.
· Apply a range of industrial coatings such as paints, primers, andanti-fouling systems.
· Ensure quality and uniformity of finishes in accordance with project specifications.
· Collaborate with the project team to meet deadlines and maintain safetystandards.
· Conduct regular checks and maintenance of application tools andequipment.
· Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
· Experience in industrial coatings application (marine/offshoreexperience is a plus).
· Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating systems.
· Knowledge and experience of GFRP and Gel coating would be advantageous.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-qualityfinishes.
· Familiarity with health and safety regulations in industrialenvironments.
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Good physical fitness to perform tasks in demanding environments.
