Shearwater Marine Services is seeking a Project Manager to join our team to execute and deliver a wide variety of marine engineering projects. The successful applicant will oversee management and delivery of projects in fields such as commercial diving, marine engineering, welding, fabrication, inspection and defence.
• Supporting major civil and marine engineering projects.
• Providing engineering input from initial assessment through to technical and economic feasibility.
• Project delivery, planning, monitoring and acceptance.
• Reviewing and preparing technical and non-technical reports to a high standard including specifications, reports, proposals, calculations and contracts.
• Providing support on technical tenders, business development and client relations as required.
• Attending client and site visits as required
• Reviewing and preparing technical specification and design drawings.
• Working effectively on several projects concurrently to deliver to tight deadlines.
• Support and mentor the career development of junior team members.
• Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline – preferably Marine / Civil Engineering / Construction Management
• Experience as a Project Manager working on engineering projects
• Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Office packages in particular Excel and Microsoft Project Planner
• Experience in NEC3 and NEC4 contracts
